Hello, I am Libby Mickey an accomplished piano teacher. I have been teaching piano for 36 years.

I love teaching piano, it is a passion of mine! I am a very positive person and I believe my teaching reflects that.

I have served in many capacities including president of my local association in Louisiana. I am very active in my local association.

Student Honors

Over the years that I have been teaching, my students have received high honors on their evaluations from many judges. They have proved over and over, to be excellent students with great accomplishments.

My experience with music began at the tender age of 7. I continued study thru junior high school and completed my high school training. My teacher was a graduate of the famed Julliard School of Music.

My teachers who assisted me with graduate work, as well as my first teacher, instilled in me a love for quality music and a drive for achievement. They were inspirational and loved their teaching.

I plan on continuing my studies with a master teacher in the near future and believe that your education never ends. I thoroughly enjoy expanding my teaching expertise.

I reside in Katy with my family. I have one daughter who is in education here in Katy.

I believe that music education, especially playing the piano is one of the most valuable and rewarding things a person can do!
